    Course Description

        Animal Physiology is the study of the mechanisms of homeostatic regulation in animals, with an emphasis on mammalian and other vertebrate organ systems.


    Course Objectives

        The overall goal of this course is to provide an introduction to the concepts and terminology in animal physiology, with an emphasis on mammalian body systems. The laboratory is designed to provide hands-on experimental activities to complement the concepts and terminology from the textbook and lecture and to hone skills in data (statistical) analysis and report writing in conventional scientific format.
